GymQuest builds a workout from the equipment and minutes you have today, and turns it into an RPG quest. It has no accounts, no sign-in and no server of our own: your profile, workout history, streak and character all live on your device. This page describes exactly what stays on the device, what leaves it, and who receives it.
Data that never leaves your device
The app stores the following in local storage on your phone. We cannot read it, and it is not backed up to any server we operate:
- Your profile: goal, experience level, body weight and height, available equipment, training days per week.
- Every workout you generate and complete, including the sets, reps and weights you log.
- Your character: level, XP, streak, badges, boss progress.
- App settings: language, sound, and the hour your daily reminder fires.
Deleting the app deletes all of it. Because there is no account, this data cannot be recovered or transferred to a new phone by us.
Data that is sent to third parties

That is the complete list. There is no advertising SDK, no ad tracking, no third-party data broker, and we do not sell or share personal data.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules a single daily reminder locally on your device, at the hour you train most often or an hour you pick. Nothing is sent to a push server. You can revoke the permission at any time in iOS Settings.
Health data
GymQuest does not read from or write to Apple Health. The body weight and height you enter are used only to estimate calories and pick sensible starting loads, and they stay on the device.
Children
GymQuest is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Your choices
- Turn off analytics collection for your device by disabling app tracking in iOS Settings, or delete the app.
- Delete all local data by deleting the app.
- Manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions.
- To ask what we hold about you or to request deletion, email the address below. Because there is no account, we will normally need the RevenueCat app user ID shown in the app's settings to find anything at all.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the updated text appears at this URL.
